The project was part of the broader redevelopment efforts taking place within the Neighborhood Improvement Zone (NIZ)—an initiative aimed at reinvigorating the city’s core. Located just a short walk from the PPL Center hockey arena, the site is strategically positioned to benefit from the growing foot traffic and energy of Allentown’s burgeoning City Center district.
The design prioritized ground-floor activation, with a curated mix of retail and restaurant spaces intended to engage the community and create a dynamic street-level experience. This vibrant frontage is meant to attract both locals and visitors, laying the foundation for sustained economic and cultural activity in the area.
