This “swoosh” branch to guides customers through an intentional, interactive journey and is designed to demonstrate environmental stewardship in the community.
A largely glass facade cuts down on the need for artificial lighting inside and is monitored by a Daylight Harvesting system that automatically adjusts lighting levels as needed. The building also utilizes occupancy sensors so that no lights will remain on in empty rooms. Flooring is a resilient material made from recycled tires and eco-carpet tiles. Tile in bathrooms is made from 40% recycled ceramic content, while bathroom fixtures are automatic and low-flow fixtures. The walls are painted with 0-VOC paints, to maintain a healthy indoor air quality. The furniture fabrics are made from 100% recycled polyester. Roofing materials selected are designed to reflect sunlight instead of absorbing it, cutting down on urban heat island effect.
The result is a forward-thinking, environmentally conscious branch that puts customer experience and community connection at the heart of its design.
